India-based AI infrastructure company AM Intelligence has placed a binding order for 9,000 Nvidia Vera Rubin systems as it moves to expand computing capacity in the country, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing a company statement.

The systems are expected to come online in 2027 in southern India, as the company targets 1 GW of computing capacity under an $8 billion expansion plan, according to the report.

AM Intelligence plans to offer computing capacity to customers in India, the U.S., Finland and Malaysia, Bloomberg reported, citing Greenko Group founder Mahesh Kolli. By 2030, the company reportedly targets reaching 5 GW of data center capacity across India, Europe and other markets.
